ANNOUNCEMENT!
It appears as if the Nicholson family is adding one more to the bunch!!!! I went to the doctor on Tuesday, and it is confirmed. I am eleven weeks pregnant! I can't believe it! The baby appears to be healthy, and its little heart is beating away. I am starting to not be so sick so I am sure I will be posting more frequently. Thanks everybody for sticking by me even though I have not been around too much!

OK, it's been a long time since I have been part of the childbearing world, and when I was all this technology was just new, so don't mock my ignorance, but is the picture that you posted your baby, or did you pull that off the internet?

Judy, alas technology has come a long way, but not that long.....that was a picture I pulled off the internet of a fetus at 10 weeks old. (don't they all look the same?) But, my doc has a little ultra sound machine that she uses almost always instead of the doppler to pick up the heart beat. It is pretty cool. I got to see the baby's little back and head and arms and legs. He or she looks very healthy so far!

Judy - don't feel bad about asking that question. When I first looked at the post, I thought - ewww is that Dawnae's baby - that is crazy! And I have only been out of the child bearing realm for 19 months - anything's possible anymore.

How does your band affect pregnancy? Just curious.....
Well, normally I would have to have all the saline out...but I was needing another fill before I got pregnant, so we are going to see how it goes. If I can eat enough and the baby is growing fine we will just leave it! Hope you had fun on your trip!
