At the landing....the first problem is solved....now how to push it around the narrow space!
Success, they did it, and rode the big thing all the way down!
This was all before the trauma of the missing mimi, Belle has called her blanket mimi since she was about 9 months old. This thing is getting pretty ragged she drags it everywhere. Well last night she had to sleep without it, because after an hour of searching for the dang thing it was no where to be found! This morning Belle climbed into bed with me and just cried, "We have to find mimi, I love her!" We did finally find it behind the couch in the basement this morning. I think it is time to set some limits with where mimi goes before it really gets lost for good.

Our youngest daughter had a mimi too and you know something...she still has it!! She is 34 and has always kept it. She even took it with her to college!! Oh well!!
I am glad that you stopped by my blog today!! My picture that i have up is a big cow that we have here in Savannah. It is the back end. The tail has a diamond ring on it. I just thought it would be fun to see if anyone could figure out what it was!! I posted a bigger picture of it on Monday's blog. Sandy
I love bean bag chairs and that one is gigantic!! So fun to see your kids working together. Glad to hear the mimi is safe and sound. Devin has a 'pinky' which is a blanket my grandmother made for me when I was 8 or 9. It is in tatters, but he loves it still. It has been used as a cape and a way to hide...lots of memories wraped up in that thing!
My sisters and I used to "ride" this campling matress thinger down our stairs when we we younger, it was so fun! Sadly, I had "blue blankie" till I was 8. I took that baby everywhere. Even now Jared says I hog the blankets and cuddle up to them. I guess you are never to old for a mimi/blankie
that open range was so funny...
What great team work! It looks like the most fun of the beanbag chair will be the getting it down the stairs. :)
That picture of Spencer and Belle is precious; definitely a keeper! If you lose her mimi again, she can adopt Spencer as her new one.
Great teamwork! And the last photo you posted of them is adorable.
I'm glad you found the missing mimi. A blankie girl is just not herself without her blankie around...I've been there!
i seem to know a few mimi (blankie) girls myself.... they shall forever remail anymous but i do believe i know some who may still harbor blankets into adulthood..... ah mimi's are extremely important.... you are right dawnae. you better limit where mimi goes maybe she should only be allowed in belles bed and then on the main floor no car, no basement. mimi should NOT ever leave the house. love mom
Good going Spencer & Isabelle! Who needs to wait around for an adult? Maybe you & Isabelle could find a blanket that could be designated as a "Mimi" replacement in times when Mimi gets herself lost. Find a blanket around the house that is at least the same texture & feel & put it somewhere safe & tell her that if Mimi ever gets lost she can have that special "Mimi #2" just until Mimi gets found again. I always did this with Lacey when she was Belle's age & it seemed to at least make things a little more tolerable - for her & me!
