Yard work....and more yard work

It seems as if it will never end! I spent the morning weeding and redoing our back yard flower bed. It looks really nice, which gives me satisfaction. However, I turn around, and realize there is so much more to do. Our yard is so big....I wonder if we should have bought a condo.

This week I have been working on getting the large gigantic weed infested garden ready for planting. I came outside this morning at 7:00 am ready to pull weeds, and low and behold the whole area was cleared out! I do not know when or how it was done. I never heard a peep or any noise, and I was up until 11:00 pm and up at 6:00 am! I am sure that it was my home teacher that did this, he is going to till the ground under tomorrow. I am always amazed at the service our ward members are so eager to do for one another. I have been so blessed to have had two wonderful wards the past seven years here in South Jordan. The Lord certainly looks out for me, and for that I am so thankful. He always puts people in my path that are more than willing to help me out.

I think Rose got hurt at least four times today. She somersaulted off the couch, but did manage to land on her feet! That child is such a danger to herself, and not afraid of anything. She climbs up onto the bar stools and scares me to death! She is so strong. During Church on Sunday she grabbed a hold of the seat next to me and I was pulling her to get off of it, and it lifted off of the ground! She really does amaze me.

I was very lucky that both Belle and Rose had naps today, which allowed me some great time to paint. It is so nice when I get those breaks. Well tomorrow is the garden, and figuring out the sprinklers!

What a great surprise to have your garden weeded for you! I bet that just made your day :-)

Yay for napping children and quiet time for you!

I love to garden, but have not done if for years as school took over as my 'hobby...' Good for you for getting the yard in shape, it is a fun time of year and you are lucky not to have the 1 billion degree temps that we have here!

How cool that someone pulled all the weeds for you! So nice & neighborly! Rose is such a little monkey. I can't believe she is climbing on bar stools. I am glad that Ben is not as daring!

That's a relief to have your garden weeded. How nice for someone to help you.
My son is like that, I always said he got the accident prone gene.LOL!
They are cute little monkies though!

Hope you enjoy your weekend!

I can't believe that Rose! I think she is going to be a gymnast for sure. Already doing tricks and landing on her feet :) I am glad you are making yard progress. How extra lucky for the help :)

What a satisfying project - yard work. How nice to have a secret helper! That makes me want to go do something nice without anyone knowing.
